On 25\u00a0October 2023, <\/strong>the UNSC Committee established pursuant to resolution 1533\u00a0concerning the Democratic Republic of the Congo<\/strong> has\u00a0approved\u00a0the addition\u00a0of two entries<\/strong> to its Sanctions List of individuals and entities subject to the measures imposed by the Security Council and adopted under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 19 October 2023,\u00a0<\/strong>the Secretariat of the United Nations\u00a0has\u00a0removed\u00a0<\/strong>from the Security Council website\u00a0the list of 23 individuals and 61 entities\u00a0<\/strong>pursuant to the restrictive measures contained in paragraphs 3, 4 and 6 (c) and (d) of Annex B to resolution 2231 (2015)\u00a0concerning the\u00a0Islamic Republic of\u00a0Iran.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, on\u00a020 October\u00a02023,<\/strong> the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 2653 concerning\u00a0Haiti<\/strong>\u00a0enacted\u00a0amendments on\u00a0one entry<\/strong>\u00a0on its Sanctions List of individuals and entities.\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amendment of One Entry on the 1970 Sanctions List concerning Libya\u200b<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 16\u00a0October\u00a02023<\/strong>, the UNSC\u00a0Committee concerning\u00a0Libya<\/u><\/strong> decided that one individual, namely, Aisha Muammar Qadhafi, is no longer subject to travel ban measures.\u00a0However, the individual continues to be subject to asset-freeze measures<\/u><\/strong>. Accordingly, the Committee enacted amendments<\/u><\/strong> on its List and on the narrative summaries of reasons for listing.\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n
