Humanitarian Travel Exemption to 2 Listed Individuals<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 24 November 2023<\/strong>, the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1970 (2011) concerning Libya decided to grant a humanitarian travel exemption, pursuant to paragraph 16(a) of resolution 1970 (2011), effective from 1 December 2023 through 31 May 2\u200b024, to the following two individuals:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(a)    LYi.019:    Safia Farkash al-Barassi<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

(b)    LYi.012:    Mohammed Muammar Qadhafi<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amendments of Five Entries on the ISIL (Da\u2019esh) and Al-Qaida Sanctions List<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 14 November 2023<\/strong>, the UNSC Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da\u2019esh), Al\u2011Qaida and associated individuals, groups, undertakings and entities\u200b<\/strong> amended five entries<\/u><\/strong> and narrative summaries in connection with individuals and entities subject to the assets freeze, travel ban and arms embargo set out in paragraph 1 of Security Council resolution 2610 (2021), and adopted under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
