Addition of Six Entries to the 1533 Sanctions List concerning the Democratic Republic of Congo<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 21 February 2024, <\/strong>the United Nations Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1533 (2004) concerning the Democratic Republic of the Congo has approved the addition of six entries<\/strong> to its Sanctions List of individuals and entities subject to the measures imposed by the Security Council and adopted under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 07 February 2024, <\/strong>the Security Council Committee pertaining to ISIL (Da\u2019esh) and Al-Qaida<\/strong> has amended eighty-five (85) entries <\/strong>on its sanctions list of individuals and entities<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amendment of One Entry on the Libya Sanctions List<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On <\/strong>31 January 2024<\/strong>, the UNSC C\u200bommittee established pursuant to resolution 1970 (2011) concerning Libya<\/strong> decided that the following individual is no longer subject to the travel ban measure imposed pursuant to paragraph 15 of resolution 1970 (2011).  The individual continues to be subject to the asset freeze measure pursuant to the relevant resolutions.on its ISIL (Da\u2019esh) and Al-Qaida Sanctions List of individuals and entities .<\/p>\n\n\n\n
