Addition of Six Entries to the 1533 Sanctions List concerning the Democratic Republic of Congo<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On\u00a021\u00a0February 2024,\u00a0<\/strong>the\u00a0United Nations\u00a0Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1533 (2004) concerning the Democratic Republic of the Congo has approved the addition of six entries<\/strong>\u00a0to its Sanctions List of individuals and entities subject to the measures imposed by the Security Council and adopted under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On\u00a007 February 2024,\u00a0<\/strong>the Security Council Committee pertaining to\u00a0ISIL (Da\u2019esh) and Al-Qaida<\/strong>\u00a0has\u00a0amended eighty-five (85) entries\u00a0<\/strong>on its sanctions list of individuals and entities<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On\u00a0<\/strong>31\u00a0January\u00a02024<\/strong>, the UNSC C\u200bommittee\u00a0established\u00a0pursuant\u00a0to\u00a0resolution\u00a01970\u00a0(2011)\u00a0concerning Libya<\/strong>\u00a0decided that the following individual is no longer subject to the travel ban measure imposed pursuant to paragraph 15 of resolution 1970 (2011).\u00a0 The individual continues to be subject to the asset freeze measure pursuant to the relevant resolutions.on\u00a0its\u00a0ISIL (Da\u2019esh) and Al-Qaida\u00a0Sanctions List of individuals and entities\u00a0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
