The United Nations Security Council Subsidiary Organs Branch (the Secretariat) automatically conveys updates to the Consolidated United Nations Security Council Sanctions List, to States, regional and sub-regional organizations by e-mail shortly following updates made to a Security Council Committee’s sanctions list.
   
This update to the Consolidated United Nations Security Council Sanctions List was made on 28 September 2018 following an update the sanctions list maintained by the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1518 (2003).

Attached below are note verbales in English, French and Spanish, from the Chair of the Committee addressed to Permanent Representatives and Observers to the United Nations in New York conveying changes made on 28 September 2018 to the Committee’s list of individuals and entities subject to the assets freeze, travel ban and arms embargo set out in Security Council resolution 1483 (2003): paragraphs 19 and 23  adopted under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations.

To obtain a fully updated version, in English, of the ISIL (Da’esh), and Al-Qaida Sanctions Committee’s List of individuals and entities subject to the sanctions measures, Member States are encouraged to consult, on a regular basis, the Committee’s website at the following URL:  https://www.un.org/sc/suborg/en/sanctions/1518/materials. The 1518 Sanctions List is also available in XML, PDF and HTML formats and in all United Nations official languages.

The 1518 Sanctions Committee has also made accessible on its website narrative summaries of reasons for listing the English versions of which are available via the URL:

This update to the Consolidated United Nations Security Council Sanctions List was made on 24 September 2018 following an update the sanctions list maintained by the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1518 (2003).
