In its fight against money laundering and the financing of terrorism, the IMF has published a book on Good Practices to Enhance Effectiveness in countering the financing of terrorism on the 12th of May 2023. Significant challenges are faced by the IMF member countries when it comes to improving the effectiveness of their fight against terrorism financing (TF). The book is designed to assist policy makers and practitioners in identifying key challenges and good practices for strengthening the effectiveness of counter terrorism financing frameworks. Experts from the IMF, United Nations, Egmont Group of Financial Intelligence Units, INTERPOL and Europol have contributed to the publication of this book.
