Humanitarian Travel Exemption to 2 Listed Individuals
On 24 November 2023, the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1970 (2011) concerning Libya decided to grant a humanitarian travel exemption, pursuant to paragraph 16(a) of resolution 1970 (2011), effective from 1 December 2023 through 31 May 2024, to the following two individuals:
(a) LYi.019: Safia Farkash al-Barassi
(b) LYi.012: Mohammed Muammar Qadhafi

Amendments of Five Entries on the ISIL (Da’esh) and Al-Qaida Sanctions List
On 14 November 2023, the UNSC Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da’esh), Al‑Qaida and associated individuals, groups, undertakings and entities amended five entries and narrative summaries in connection with individuals and entities subject to the assets freeze, travel ban and arms embargo set out in paragraph 1 of Security Council resolution 2610 (2021), and adopted under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations.
