FAQs - GoAML Registration
The goAML is a fully integrated software solution developed by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) to be used by financial intelligence units across the world to curb money laundering and terrorist financing. Suspicious Transactions Report (STR) by reporting entities are filed on the goAML platform.
Section 14C of the Financial Intelligence and Anti-Money Laundering Act 2002 (FIAMLA) requires all reporting persons as defined under the FIAMLA to register with the FIU. The Financial Intelligence and Anti-Money Laundering Regulations 2019, provides the framework for the registration of reporting persons by the FIU
No. The goAML platform is accessible only to Reporting Persons who have registered on the GoAML platform.
To access the goAML Web, you can (i) either enter the URL https://www.mrugoaml.fiumauritius.org/ into your Web browser window or (ii) launch it via the FIU’s homepage
(https://www.fiumauritius.org)
;upon clicking on “goAML” logo, the goAML Mauritius Home Page will be launched.
A reporting person must always register on the Production Environment to file Suspicious Transaction Reports. The test platform has been put at the disposition of Reporting persons to familiarize themselves on using the GoAML.
When several Reporting Entities are related (e.g. same Group of companies, via holding and control) and there is only one designated MLRO. For further guidance please refer to the goAML Web User’s Guide (fiumauritius.org)- Annex1
If you hold one or more licenses (from the same, or more than one, Supervisory Body) and these licenses are each subject to obligations under FIAMLA 2002, then, you should register separate goAML ‘Organization’ account for each relevant license. For further details, please refer to the goAML Web User’s Guide.
i. Login to existing account
ii. Go to ‘MygoAML’
iii. Click on my ‘org details’ and change necessary details and attach all supporting documents
iv. Submit for approval
The new MLRO must register as a person using the organization ID with a new login and password. The goAML helpdesk team will then provide necessary assistance to the new MLRO, if required.
The MLRO or authorized user must:
i. Go to the login page and click on forgot password
ii. Submit its user name and email
iii. Enter the captcha and click on submit
If the MLRO has forgotten his user name, he can send an email to goamlhelpdesk@fiumauritius.org
