The National Sanctions Secretariat of the Republic of Mauritius, has issued a public notice in line with the United Nations (Financial Prohibitions, Arms Embargo and Travel Ban) Sanctions Act 2019 as follows:

The United Nations Security Council Subsidiary Organs Branch (the Secretariat) automatically conveys updates to the United Nations Security Council Consolidated List, to States, regional and sub-regional organizations by e-mail shortly following updates made to a Security Council list.
   
This update to the United Nations Security Council Consolidated List was made on 23 March 2021 following an update the sanctions list maintained by the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da’esh), and Al-Qaida and associated individuals and entities (the ISIL (Da’esh), and Al-Qaida Sanctions Committee).

The United Nations Security Council Subsidiary Organs Branch (the Secretariat) automatically conveys updates to the Consolidated United Nations Security Council Sanctions List, to States, regional and sub-regional organizations by e-mail shortly following updates made to a sanctions list maintained on the Secretariat’s website.   
  
This update to the Consolidated United Nations Security Council Sanctions List was made on 5 March 2021 following an update the sanctions list maintained by the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1591 (2005) concerning the Sudan (1591 Sanctions Committee).

UNSC – 3 March 2021 (Changes as at 25 February 2021)

The National Sanctions Secretariat of the Republic of Mauritius, has issued a public notice in line with the United Nations (Financial Prohibitions, Arms Embargo and Travel Ban) Sanctions Act 2019 as follows:

Addition of One Entry to the 2140 Sanctions List concerning Yemen.docx​​​​​

On 25 February 2021 the United Nations Security Council adopted resolution 2564 (2021). In paragraph 3 of the same resolution, the Security Council decided that “the individual listed in the annex of this resolution shall be subject to the measures imposed by paragraphs 11 and 15 of resolution 2140 (2014) and paragraph 14 of resolution 2216 (2015).”

Consequently, the individual mentioned in the annex of resolution 2564 (2021) has been inserted in the United Nations Security Council Consolidated List and in the 2140 Sanctions List, with the permanent reference number: YEi.006.

For ease of reference, please find attached copies of resolution 2564 (2021) in English language.
