Amendment of Fourteen Entries on the ISIL (Da’esh) and Al-Qaida Sanctions List
The National Sanctions Secretariat of the Republic of Mauritius, has issued a public notice in line with the United Nations (Financial Prohibitions, Arms Embargo and Travel Ban) Sanctions Act 2019 as follows:
On 14 December 2023, the UNSC Committee established pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da’esh), Al‑Qaida and associated individuals, groups, undertakings and entities amended fourteen entries with strikethrough and/or underline on its ISIL (Da’esh) and Al-Qaida Sanctions List of individuals and entities:

Changes brought to the UN Security Council Consolidated List
The National Sanctions Secretariat of the Republic of Mauritius, has issued a public notice in line with the United Nations (Financial Prohibitions, Arms Embargo and Travel Ban) Sanctions Act 2019 as follows:
On 05 January 2024, the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1718 (2006) concerning the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) has amended two entries on its sanctions list.
On 19 December 2023, the Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da’esh) and Al‑Qaida has amended seven entries on its sanctions list of individuals and entities.
