The National Sanctions Secretariat of the Republic of Mauritius, has issued a public notice in line with the United Nations (Financial Prohibitions, Arms Embargo and Travel Ban) Sanctions Act 2019 as follows:
Amendment of Four Entries on the ISIL (Da’esh) and Al-Qaida Sanctions List (1).docx

On 27 May 2022, the United Nations Security Council Committee pursuant to resolutions 1267 (1999), 1989 (2011) and 2253 (2015) concerning ISIL (Da’esh), Al‑Qaida and associated individuals, groups, undertakings and entities enacted  amendments specified with  underline and strikethrough to 4 entries on its ISIL (Da’esh) and Al-Qaida Sanctions List of individuals and entities subject to the assets freeze, travel ban and arms embargo set out in paragraph 1 of Security Council resolution 2610 (2021), and adopted under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations.

The United Nations Security Council Subsidiary Organs Branch (the Secretariat) automatically conveys updates to the  Committees’ lists and to the United Nations Security Council Consolidated List, to States, regional and sub-regional organizations, and private entities/individuals by e-mail shortly following updates made to the Lists.
   
The update to the lists mentioned in the subject above was made on 19 May 2022.
