Addition of Two Entries to the 1533 Sanctions List concerning the Democratic Republic of the Congo
On 25 October 2023, the UNSC Committee established pursuant to resolution 1533 concerning the Democratic Republic of the Congo has approved the addition of two entries to its Sanctions List of individuals and entities subject to the measures imposed by the Security Council and adopted under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations.

Dissemination of two notices (Iran & Haiti) i.r.o changes to the United Nations Security Council Consolidated List
On 19 October 2023, the Secretariat of the United Nations has removed from the Security Council website the list of 23 individuals and 61 entities pursuant to the restrictive measures contained in paragraphs 3, 4 and 6 (c) and (d) of Annex B to resolution 2231 (2015) concerning the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Moreover, on 20 October 2023, the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 2653 concerning Haiti enacted amendments on one entry on its Sanctions List of individuals and entities.

Amendment of One Entry on the 1970 Sanctions List concerning Libya
On 16 October 2023, the UNSC Committee concerning Libya decided that one individual, namely, Aisha Muammar Qadhafi, is no longer subject to travel ban measures. However, the individual continues to be subject to asset-freeze measures. Accordingly, the Committee enacted amendments on its List and on the narrative summaries of reasons for listing.

Removal of One Entry from the 1518 Sanctions List
The United Nations Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1518 (2003) concerning Iraq has removed one entry from its Sanctions List of individuals and entities on 05 October 2023.
